Following the conclusion of the Iranian Basketball Premier League quarterfinals and the end of the season for Golnoor basketball team, a special meeting was held at the Chaharbagh Hotel in Isfahan with the club's managers, coaching staff, and players. The ceremony, held in a friendly atmosphere with a dinner banquet, was an opportunity to appreciate the team's efforts throughout the season.
Mohammad Amini: Golnoor is not just a team, but a culture
Mohammad Amini, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Golnoor Club, speaking at the ceremony about the team's performance this season, said: Great efforts were made to secure at least one victory in the quarterfinals. The players and coaching staff gave their all, but in the end, things did not turn out as we had hoped. However, from the very first day we shook hands with Mr. Shams for cooperation, one of our main criteria in selecting players and colleagues was their character—a character that aligns with the identity and discipline of Golnoor. Fortunately, throughout this season, we witnessed a cohesive and controversy-free team.
He continued, referring to the challenges of running a team under the country's current conditions: Managing a sports club alongside running an industrial complex is no easy task. The economic situation affected the quantity and quality of the team, but with effort and planning, we were able to navigate this path in the best possible way. We are glad that we ended the season without controversy or gossip. We would have liked to be among the top four teams in the standings, but finishing fifth in our first year of participation, especially with a team consisting mainly of Isfahani staff and players, is a commendable and noteworthy result.
Amini also spoke about the congratulatory messages he received after the team's final game and emphasized that Golnoor is no longer just a basketball team, but has become a culture and ethos: After the third game, I received many messages from people in basketball, all of whom praised the team's performance. These messages show that Golnoor has found a special place in Iranian basketball. Beyond results, what matters is the culture and philosophy that Golnoor seeks to promote. Today, we are not only present in the Premier League, but we also have two youth teams and two junior teams in the country's leagues. Last year, our youth team became champions, and we will continue this path seriously, because we believe in backing and developing players.

Asghar Amini, founder of Golnoor Company, also speaking at the meeting, thanked the team for their performance: From the beginning, we knew that we would face serious and tough competitors on this path, but what mattered to us was reaching the set goals. Our first year in the Premier League was a big challenge, but empathy, hard work, and team discipline led to good things happening.
